April 2019 Highlights
4-29-2019….Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. Dates, and ticket prices have now been released for “Disney Villains After Hours” party. For details on the party check our pervious update. The Dates are ..June 6, 13, 20, 27. …July 1, 11, 18, 25….August 1, 8 … The event will run from 10:00pm - 1:00am, but ticket holders can enter the park as early as 7:00pm. The prices for this hard-ticket event are … $139 plus tax for “ADVANCE” purchase, or $144 plus tax on the event night. Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Members, can take advantage of a $30 discount, and purchase tickets for $109 plus tax. The stage show “Villains Unite the Night” will run over 20 minutes, and will have 3 shows a night.
4-29-2019 … Magic Kingdom, Disney Land …. On June 6th “Mickeys Mix Magic” firework, and projection show, will have its last showing. June 7th will mark the return of “Disney Land Forever” show that was originally for Disney Lands 60th anniversary back in 2015!
4-28-2019… Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. “Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party”, will feature an all new “firework spectacular” this year (no name has been released). Tickets are on sale now!! Prices range from $99 to $139 per adult, and $94 to $134 per child (depending on the date you go). The party dates are. November 8, 11 , 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24…December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22..(with December 20, and 22 having the highest price of $139 adult, $134 child). The prices for tickets increase as it gets closer to Christmas … Advance ticket purchase prices are slightly cheaper than gate prices. There will be no discount on advance ticket purchases on December 20, and 22
4-27-2019 … Downtown Disney District, Disney Land …. “Pop Up Disney” will be a celebration of 90 years of our beloved Mickey Mouse, This exhibit features 7 extremely colorful immersive rooms, filled with plenty of photo ops, and hidden Minnies. “Tickets” MUST be purchased in ADVANCE online, they start at $30 per person ($38 for weekends, and evenings). Tickets will come with a 5 hour, complimentary parking in the Downtown Disney lot. It will operate daily from “10am - 9pm” … There will also be a retail store for guests to purchase merchandise. Guests at “Downtown Disney District” do not need to purchase a ticket to enter the merchandise store. The merchandise store will operate from “10am - 11pm”. This now open exhibit is available for a limited time, with no official end date! So check it out ASAP … Mitchie Mouse Travels can book your tickets, for this Magical Exhibit!!
4-26-2019 … Magic Kingdom, Disney World … “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” will introduce a new fireworks show, replacing “Hallo-Wishes” for the 2019 party. On select nights from “August 16th to November 1st” You can enjoy this brand new state-of-the-art show…. Featuring ..”Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy” , where they find themselves in a haunted house, going from one room to another… This stage show will be a firework, laser, and projection specular! ..Make sure to purchase your tickets soon! Dates … August - 16, 20, 27, and 30, September - 2, 6, 10, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, and, 29, October - 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, and 31. The party will run from 7pm - 12am. “Prices start at $79” ( discounts on advance ticket purchases)

4-24-2019 … Disney World has released “Summer gift card offer” …. if you book in June at select resorts you will receive a gift card at check in … “Value Resorts” get a $10 per night card, “Moderate Resorts “ get a $15 per night card, “Deluxe Resorts” get a $20 per night card, and “Deluxe Villa Resorts” get a $25 per night card …. 4-21-2019 …. Animal Kingdom, in Disney World…. Starting Memorial Day Weekend, will be the debut of the revamped night time show “Rivers of Light” entitled “Rivers of Light: We Are One”, the new show will feature new effects as well as the introduction of “Disney Characters” for the first time in its 2 year run!
4-21-2019 … Disney Land … If you have booked a vacation package at one of the three Disney Land Hotels, for Dates Between May 31st - June 23rd, you will be receiving your e-mail conformation for your “Star Wars Land” Reservation today! Keep in mind there are still rooms available for those dates SO BOOK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, to take advantage of the “Stars Wars Land” Reservation Plan!
4-19-2019 …. Disney Studios, in Disney World….. the upcoming attraction “Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway” has now been “DELAYED”, until Spring of 2020…….no further information is available …..
4-19-2019 …. Disney Land … The new attraction “Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway”, will be coming to “Toontown” in 2022!
4-19-2019 …. Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. Will be hosting a new after hours party “Disney Villains After Hours” … From June 6 - August 8. There will be a special stage show “Villains Unite The Night” 3 times a night, As well as Parades, Dancing , and More!! With over “20” attractions opened with low wait times. Tickets go on sale April 29th, Priced at $139 for “Advance Purchase” , or $144 at the gate.
4-19-2019 …. Disney Land …. Will be offering a early reservation to “Stars Wars Land”, from May 31 to June 23, 2019. This will be free, and ONLY to guests staying at 1 of the 3 Disney Resort Hotels,(with valid theme park admission). the plan is called “Kiss Before You Go”, but no further information is available at this time.
4-18-2019 …. Disney Cruise Lines, will introduce “Captain Minnie Mouse”, on all ships starting this month!
4-18-2019 … Disney Land, has now moved its “ Mickey’s Halloween Party” to Disney California Adventure park. Renamed “Oogie Boogie Bash” it will include , “Villainous” “Descendants Dance Party'“ ,”Villains Walk Through”, and much more. Dates are between, Sept 6 - Oct. 31, 2019…. tickets go on sale later this month… keep your eye here for any updates
4-18-2019 …. Magic Kingdom, in Disney World, Will be undergoing changes to their “Transportation Center” .. this will impact walking and wait times to enter Magic Kingdom, Monorails will also be effected
4-17-2019 …. Magic Kingdom, in Disney World, has extended its park hours for the following dates….the park will open at “8:00 a.m.” on May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1….. The park will close at “10:00 p.m.” on April 28-30 … May 1, 2, 5-10, 12-17, 19-24, 27, 28, 30 …. The park will close at “11:00p.m.” on …May 3, 4, 11, 25, 26, 29, 31…. The park will close at “12:00a.m.” on …May 18th …. June 1st.
4-17-2019 … At Disney Hollywood Studios, in Disney World …. “PizzeRizzo” (Pizza Restaurant) , will Reopen on May 4th…… Also, For the parks 30th anniversary starting “May 1st 2019” . There will be a new parade “Star Studded Celebration Parade”, Commemorative guide map, and button, Exclusive 30th anniversary merchandise, Special Food and Beverage Items, and the debut of “Wonderful World of Animation” A new nighttime projection show that will be projected on to the Chinese Theater (the home to the soon to open “Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway”attraction)
4-16-2019 …. This week construction on the Epcot Tram, and Security Areas, in Disney World, will begin. This will mean increased walking. Guests arriving by car must go to one area, while those arriving by bus, or monorail will be handled by another.
4-16-2019 … Disney Springs, in Disney World, has opened its 3rd parking garage. “Grapefruit Parking Garage”
4-16-2019 ….. When Galaxy’s Edge. (Star Wars Land) opens at DisneyLand, the sit down eatery “Oga’s Cantina” will not be fully operational. So far it seems that only the bar portion will open on May 31st. The rest of “Oga’s Cantina” will open along with the “Rise of the Resistance” attraction, in phase 2 of the land opening (yet to be announced). Also be aware that you will have to enjoy your alcoholic drink inside the 30 seat restaurant. You will not be permitted to take it out into the park.
4-13-2019 … Magic Kingdom at Disney World has released an all vegetarian guide map for all plant based diets. Showcasing plant based meals at all of the dining locations in Magic Kingdom.
4-12-2019 … A “Beauty and the Beast” LOUNGE … will be opening at the Grand Floridian Resort in Disney World this fall
4-12-2019….. Disney has released details on the new Disney Streaming Service. Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. You can bundle all 3 for a discounted price! It is $6.99 for a month to month subscription, or a annual price of $69.99. DISNEY+ will launch November 12, 2019
4-12-2019 …. The new attraction, Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios, Disney World, MAY be delayed to as far as Febuary of 2020
4-12-2019…Starting Oct 7th 2019 ..The Magic Kingdom in Disney World will no longer offer evening extra magic hours

4-11-2019 … Galaxy’s Edge. (Star Wars Land) opens ( in phases) at DISNEYLAND May 31st, 2019, And will open (in phases) At Hollywood Studios August 29th, 2019… The only attraction that will open at that time will be “Millennium Falcon ..Smugglers Run” ..there will be no fast pass offerings when the attraction opens …… There are no official opening dates for “Rise of the Resistance”. There will also be food and beverage locations operating.
