June 2019 Highlights

6-30-2019 … Disney Land Resort, Disney Land … Today marked the Grand Opening of the Long-awaited “Pixar Pals Parking” Structure. This “5” Story Parking Garage will have 5,000 Parking Spaces, with different themes on each level, Featuring, “The Incredibles”, “Monsters Inc.”, “Cars”, “Coco”, and “Finding Nemo” . The “Magic Way Pedestrian Bridge” is set to open in mid-September. This Bridge will be located on the “2nd Level”, and will allow guests access to ““The Down Town Disney District”, where they can then enter the parks.

6-28-2019 … Magic Kingdom, Disney Land … “The Main Street Electrical Parade”, Will be returning for a “Limited Time”. This Fan-Favorite Parade is set to Return “August 2nd” with nightly performances through “September 30th”!

2-28-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World … New for “EPCOT’s” “Food and Wine Festival” will be “Tailgate Tasting Hosted By E.S.P.N”. This event will take place at the “WorldShowPlace Events Pavilion” in “World Showcase” at “EPCOT, on “Every Sunday” Starting “September 8 to November 17, 2019. Tickets to this event will cost $19 per person. Disney has said this about the Event: “During this 45-minute program, you’ll enjoy a flight of 3 sample-sized food items, served with a complementary beverage tasting, inspired by the cities playing in the Monday night game each week. The best part—you’ll get a chance to learn from culinary experts how to make these dishes at home”!

6-27-2019 …. The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney World … We have just learned that a Brand New “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique” will officially open its doors on August 6th 2019 at “Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa”. Starting today, guests can begin booking appointments at this new location. There will also be a new “Carriage Package” offed at all of the “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Locations, witch includes a “Specially-themed T-shirt”. Among the new offerings will be: “4” new stylish hairstyles with customizable options, also an expanded assortment of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique-inspired products, including a spirit jersey available in adult and youth sizes, Minnie Ear headband, MagicBand and other accessories. All of theses accessories can be purchased separately from any of the packages.

6-27-2019 … The Liberty Inn, EPCOT, Disney World …. The Fan favorite “ Liberty Inn”, Located in “The American Pavilion”, in EPCOT’s “WorldShowcase” will be CLOSING “July 8th”. It will be Re-Placed with “The Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue” this will be a new fast-casual barbecue eatery featuring craft brews on tap. This New Restaurant experience, will be a modern barbecue smokehouse, with all the accompanying sights, sounds, smells, and flavors guests can look forward to! “The Regal Eagle” will also include a large smoker preparing fine food every day right on the pavilion’s promenade. The Patio will see a new design as well for guests to enjoy!

6-24-2019 … Gran Destino Tower, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney World …. When this brand new resort opens in a few weeks, it will be the first of its kind to offer “Interactive, Personalized Smart TV Systems, with Free On-Demand Movies”. This was briefly tested at “Disney’s Yacht Club Resort” a while back. This new Technology, that will soon start appearing at all “Disney Resorts” is the first of its kind. You will be able to access … “Disney World Park Hours”, “Bus Information” (times of arrival to various parks), “Weather”, and even “PhotoPass Phots”! There will also be “7” free on-demand Disney Movies, access to “Hulu” (subscription needed), and “Disney +” once it rolls out in November.

6-23-2019 … Disney’s California Adventure, Disney Land … We have just learned that the recent overlay of “Soarin’ Over California” Has been EXTENDED to “August 31”. Due to the popularly of this brought back experience, guests will now be able to Soar over California, for an extra 2 months! Currently there are NO Plans to bring this experience back to EPCOT, but we will keep you posted.

6-20-2019 … Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. The “Magic Kingdom” will have extended hours in “July, and August”. The park will stay open on: July 24: Until, 11:00pm (Extra Magic Hours: 11:00pm - 1:00am), and August: 2 & 3 Until, 10pm.

6-19-2019 … Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, Disney Land … The “Mandara Spa” will be Closing, “July 10th 2019”, to make way for a new “Spa” Experience. Any guests with Spa reservations after July 10th 2019, will be informed their appointment has been canceled.

6-18-2019 …. Disney World … Effective Today: “Prices” for “Parking Fees” at “ALL” Disney World Resorts will increase in price. Disney “Value Resorts” will now be $15 per night, “Moderate Resorts” will now be $19 per night, and “Deluxe, and Deluxe Villa Resorts” will be $24 per night.

6-18-2019 … Disney World, and Disney Land …. “The Minnie Van Service” …“Lyft” is now the official Rideshare Of Disney Parks! There will be new enhancements for the “Walt Disney World Resort” “App” making it easier to request a “Minnie Van” ride from the most convenient pickup location. There will also be “Wheelchair” accessible vehicles upon request!

6-17-2019 … UPDATE: Disney has confirmed “The Country Bear Jamboree” will Not be closing for “Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary”… Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. RUMOR: There have been rumblings that “The Country Bear Jamboree” may be RE-PLACED, with a “Toy Story” Marionette Show, for “Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary”. This Audio-Animatronic Marionette Show would incorporate elements from the “Woodys Roundup” Segment in the “Toy Story 2” Movie. The Show will be staring, “Woody, Jessis, Bullseye, and Stinky Pete the Prospector”. As of now this is STRICKLY a RUMOR, but as always we will keep you updated on any future developments.

6-17-2019 … Animal Kingdom, Disney World … Just a heads up for any fans of “Dino Lands” Attraction “Primeval Whirl”. The spinning coaster is currently closed for unplanned maintenance. There is currently no reopening date for this Attraction, but always remember to check out this section of our site for any updates.

6-16-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World … UPDATE: Fans of the original EPCOT CENTER, can rejoice! We had perviously announced that “The Land”, and “The Sea’s With Nemo, and Friends”, would be demolished in 2024. We have just learned that those plans have been scrapped, and the “2” beloved Pavilions won’t be going anywhere! This complete overhaul of EPCOT will see the Demolition of “Innoventions East” to make way for some, yet to be announced, area (We have heard this will be the future site of a Garden and Water Area). “StarBucks”, will be relocated, but the fate of the ever popular “Club Cool” is still in question. “Innoventions West” will see a Theme Change to “The Electric Umbrella”, as well as a Total Renovation of “Mouse Works”. These changes are set to be complete, or almost complete, by “The Magic Kindgoms” 50th Anniversary.

6-14-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World … “Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Live”, Returns TODAY to the “America Gardens Theater” in EPCOT’s “America Pavilion”. This Stage Show will run from “June 14th - August 18th, 2019”. “Showtimes” are, “1:30PM”, “2:30PM”, “3:45PM”, “6:45PM”, and “8:00PM”, Daily. The Show features Star-Lord, and Gamora with a 7-piece alien band, and will bring many of your favorite hits from “Awesome Mix Volumes 1 & 2” to life!

6-13-2019 … Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney World … “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” is moving along as planned and will still open “August 29, 2019”. There will be many offerings, such as Retail Shops, Eateries, and Live Entertainment. The ONLY Attraction that will be operational is “ Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run”, While the 2nd attraction in the land “Rise of the Resistance” has NO official opening date as of yet. Keep your eyes on our “Disney News” section for any further information.

6-10-2019 … Galactic Journeys: A Star Wars Adventure (new Star Wars Hotel), Disney World …. We have just learned that in addition to all that will be offered at this All-Inclusive Hotel, there will Also be a Dinner Show in the middle of this upcoming Hotel. Originally announced as part of “Star War Land: Galaxy’s Edge” this one of a kind Dinner Show, will be exclusive to guests staying at the Brand New Hotel. If your planning on visiting “Galactic Journeys: A Star Wars Adventure” Hotel, you still have time to save up some money, because the opening date is set for Early-to-Mid 2021 (Although we have heard, with the fast pace that construction is going, a very late 2020 opening may be possible). Prices are set for a 2-night, 3-day stay, which includes food, room, and plenty more. Rumors are prices are going to be around $2,500 per guest.

6-10-2019 …. Animal Kingdom, Disney World … UPDATE: Rafiki’s Planet Watch” will be opening ahead of schedule on “July 11th”, and will feature an All-New Animation Experience! In honor of “The Lion King”, guests will have the opportunity to learn how to draw some of the beloved characters from the movie like, “Simba, Zazu, Pumbaa, Timon, and more”. These instructor led classes will offer sessions that will be different experiences each time you visit, so be sure to visit often on your trip to complete the collection. “Disney FastPass + Service” will be offered, and you can start making your FastPasses Later today!

6-08-2019 … Disney Springs, Disney World … The makers of “Toy Story Drop” will be hosting a special pop-up experience come “June 11”! Guests will be able to play the new “Mobile Game” Fully Themed To The Toy Story Universe, enjoy Photo Opportunities with The Claw, and more! Currently the location of where this experience will take place in “Disney Springs” is unknown. We will keep you posted on when the exact location is announced.

6-08-2019 … Disney’s California Adventure, Disney Land …. The NEW Show “Tale Of Lion King” will run from “June 7 to September 2, 2019”. Thought the day a troupe of Storytellers will treat guests to this Brand New Show! This New Stage Show will take place in the “Paradise Gardens Park”, on “Palisades Stage”, and feature 18 performers, including actors, singers, dancers, and drummers. This is a celebration of “The Lion King” told by stories, songs, and dances inviting everyone to join in. There will also be more music, colorful craft activities, and more, honoring the spirit of Africa!

6-06-2019 …. Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. We have just learned that the “Disney Villains After Hours” Event that occurs on select dates will now also be effecting “2” beloved Attractions! Apparently “Maleficent” will be let loose in the “Magic Kingdom”, and we will discover new overlays of “Space Mountain”, and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. We have reported on this After-hours Event a month ago. Check below for the “Dates” of this amazing Party!

6-05-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World …. Just a heads up for anyone planning on visiting The “Japan Pavilions” New “Signature Restaurant”, “Takumi-Tei” This will be the “1st” Restaurant in EPCOT that requires a dress code. This new Signature Dining Experience will debut Mid-Summer 2019.

6-05-2019 …. Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney World … “BIG” Changes will be coming to the “FastPass+” Tire System. Starting “August 29th” The “Tier 1 Attractions” (only 1 choice), will be: Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, Toy Story Mania!, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. The other Attractions will remain under “Tire 2” …. There will be NO FastPass+ offerings for "Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run” When ““Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” opens on that same day … August 29th …

6-04-2019 …. Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney World ….. The NEW Disney “Sky Liner”(Gondola System), will be opening this “Fall”! We have heard rumblings that they may “Soft-Open” in Late Summer 2019, but right now this is Strictly a “Rumor” ….

6-04-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World ….. According to our sources, A NEW Country will be added to “World Showcase” in 2022! The New Country will be “Brazil”. Currently there are no plans for any “Attraction” in the Land. This 1.5 acre “Pavilion” will be located between the “Italy”, and “Germany” Pavilions. We will keep you up to date on any future news.

6-04-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World … Work has now begun on the New “Experience Center”, in the “Odyssey Events Pavilion”. This recently renovated Pavilion, will showcase the many changes coming to EPCOT over the next few years as the park is redeveloped into Disney’s new vision of EPCOT. According to Disney, “You will discover engaging and interactive exhibits that showcase the relentless innovation, energy, and excitement driving the future of the park all throughout this unprecedented period of transformation”. 6-03-2019 … Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney World ….. The ever so popular “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”, and “Sunset Greetings”, will both be returning for 2019! ”Olaf” will also return to the “Frozen Sing Along Finale”! All the Holiday Festivities at the “Disney World Parks” will begin “November 8, 2019.

6-03-2019 … EPCOT, Disney World …. On October 1, 2019 we will see the debut of a brand new Nighttime Spectacular in, “EPCOT Forever”. This New Show will be bursting above “World Showcase Lagoon” every night, so make sure to check out this Brand New Display of Fireworks, Lasers, and Projection Effects!

6-03-2019 …. Magic Kingdom, Disney World …. “New” for this years “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party”, will be the debut of “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show”. Hosted by the one and only Minnie Mouse, this Brand New Firework display is sure to delight guests, and get them into the Holiday Spirit! Each of the 23 nights of the Party will also feature special Holiday offerings such as, “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Parade”, “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas”, and “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration”. As always Queen Elsa will show up to Magically transform Cinderella’s Castle into a Glistening Ice Palace in “A Frozen Holiday Wish” stage show.
