New offerings at "The Gran Destino Tower" at "Coronado Springs" "Disney World"
With the opening of the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort , in July, several new options for drinks and dining are available – and none of them should be missed! Let’s take a look at each location and what they have to offer in both menu and atmosphere.
“Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago” – Situated in the center of the Lago Dorado lagoon, where the three bridges connect, is an open-air bungalow with sweeping views of “Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort”. The bar and grill is a welcome spot for drinks, appetizers, and a few meal options. The full-service bar has resort specialty drinks that favor gin as an ingredient. However, they can certainly accommodate the preferences of all guests with a full bar selection. This is a wonderful spot to kick back and enjoy a relaxing sunset and talk about the adventures of the day.
“Barcelona Lounge “– The Barcelona Lounge is on the lower lobby level of the Gran Destino Tower and will have you feeling like you are in a European boutique hotel in some remote Spanish destination. This is the place to see and be seen as guests gather at the bar or the multiple seating areas on the lower level. The cocktail options are similar to the other locations around the resort with a gin-leaning flavor. But if you’re not a gin fan, don’t worry – there are a lot of wonderful options that don’t leave you with the juniper aftertaste. For coffee fans, the “Barcelona Lounge” is a must with multiple selections that will have you coming back for more each day! A personal favorite is the Café Bonbon: espresso with sweeten condensed milk. It’s a must for coffee drinkers, and even non-coffee drinkers may enjoy this tasty drink!
“Dahlia Lounge” – This is where Walt Disney and Salvador Dali meet. Head to the top of the resort and take in the beautiful design and style of this gorgeous lounge. From the Dali-inspired artwork and décor to the breathtaking views of Disney’s “Hollywood Studios” and beyond, Dahlia Lounge is a beautiful spot for couples or groups with many indoor and outdoor seating options. The bar staff is ready to impress with their wide selection of Spanish wines, exotic and familiar beers, and full cocktail selections. “Dahlia Lounge” also offers tapas and full-plate options to share with your party.
“Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood” – From the moment you enter Toledo you will realize this is not your typical resort dining experience. The décor is awe inspiring, from the glass walls with views spanning from “Magic Kingdom” to “Blizzard Beach”and everything in between, to the ever-changing colors of the glass ceiling. Even the menu brings resort dining to new heights. Toledo offers tapas as well as entrée options. A glance at the menu and you’ll realize it’s impossible to find just one thing on the menu that interests you. You’ll realize you will want to come back again! The service and the flavors don’t let you down and leave you wanting more.
